만성질환 남성노인의 우울감과 삶의 만족도 간 사회적 지지의 조절효과 = The moderating effect of Social Supports on the Relationship between Depression and Satisfaction of Life of the old man with a chronic disease.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objective of this study was to examine the moderating effect of social welfare services on the relationship between depression and satisfaction of life of the old man with a chronic disease. In order to achieve the goal, I utilized panel survey data "Korean Welfare Panel Study, 2008", and I carried out the moderating regression analysis to old man 1333 people more than 65 years old with chronic diseases. In summering, result of research is as follows. The first, a moderating variable called social welfare service appears so that there is it to satisfaction of life and depression of the masculine old man who had a chronic disease in explaining it. The second, living costs and goods assistance are effective against purity moderating effect. The third, I was small relatively, or masculine old man was able to know that he felt it so as to be unsatisfactory about social welfare service assistances with chronic diseases. Therefore, effort is necessary in order to increase use of social welfare service like the living costs and goods that are social welfare service in order to relax depression of a man old man suffering by chronic diseases. And as community practice doing it so that relax depression, and the aged aren't isolated in communities in order to improve a satisfaction improvement of the aged. And therefore, social welfare service program development is urgent, and will do it.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 우리 사회의 만성질환 남성노인들의 우울감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널조사 자료를 활용하여 만성질환이 있는 65세 이상의 남성노인 1333명을 대상으로 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생활비지원과 물품지원은 사회적 지지라는 조절변수를 연계했을 때만이 삶의 만족도에 유의하다는 것, 즉, 순수조절효과가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 의료비지원은 우울감과 삶의 만족도 간에 유사조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 만성질환으로 고생하는 남성노인의 우울감을 완화시키기 위해서는 사회적지지 중 도구적 지지에 해당하는 생활비지원, 의료비지원, 물품지원 등과 같은 사회적 지원의 이용을 늘리려는 노력이 필요하다. 이와 함께 우울감이 있는 노인들의 만족감 개선이나 우울감 등을 개선하기 위해서는 노인들을 위한 다양한 여가 및 참여 프로그램과 노인들이 지역사회 내에서 고립되지 않도록 하는 지역사회실천으로서의 사회적 지지 프로그램의 교육 및 개발이 요구된다.
