채만식 문학의 창작원리에 대한 연구 : '풍자'와 '전망'의 역동적 갈등 구도를 중심으로 Through the Complications Between the 'Satirical' and the 'Prospective' Inclination = A Theory of Story Writing in Ch'ae Man-sik's Literary Works

The purpose of this study is to analyse the unique structures in Ch'ae Man-sik's literature by discussing his story writing system in complications between the 'satirical' and 'prospective' inclination. Most researches discussed his satirical novels and took a serious view of satirical aspects. But it's true that his literature has various aspects, especially the prospect guiding the way of overcoming the very harsh realities. It results from the intimate process of complications between the 'satirical' and the 'prospective' leaning that his literatures represent the ideal wor1d, while seem to criticise the social absurdities. The most benefit of this study is, I think, to examine his works with a balanced view, and revealed the affirmative prospect.
