유휴공간 활용으로 재생된 공원의 조성실태 및 공간 특성 사례 분석 연구 -시흥갯골생태공원, 인천 소래습지생태공원을 중심으로-|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 실증적 평가 방식을 통해 유휴공간이 재생된 사례 분석이 부족한 시점에서 과거 유휴공간이었던 대상지를 평가하고 재생된 공원의 공간 요소를분석하고자 하였다. 이에 과거 유휴공간이었던 부지가현재 효율적으로 활용되고 있는지 공간 요소를 파악하기 위해 5가지 특성으로 공간 평가 지표를 재구성하여 대상지 2곳을 비교 분석하였다. 연구는 문헌조사와 현장조사로 진행되었다. 문헌조사를 통해 유휴공간을 재정의하고 유휴공간의 유형과 발생 원인, 문제점과 재생 가치를 탐색하였다. 그리고 공간 평가 지표에관한 선행연구를 바탕으로 물리적, 사회적, 문화적, 환경적, 역사적 측면 5가지 항목으로 재구성하고 현장답사를 통해 최종 평가 지표를 작성하였다. 이는 평가기준을 제시하여 유휴공간이었던 대상지에 대한 분석을 진행해 향후 유휴공간의 맥락이 담긴 공원의 특성을 분석하는 데에 도움이 되는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상지는 시흥갯골생태공원, 인천 소래습지생태공원으로 선정하였다. 현장조사는 분석의 틀을 활용하여 2023년 5월부터 6월까지 3차례 방문하여 공간 평가를 실시하였다.
연구 결과, 시흥갯골생태공원은 시민들이 역사적 맥락을 이해할 수 있도록 지속적인 프로그램을 통해 자연스러운 참여를 유도하여 공원의 활성화를 이끌어사회적, 역사적 측면에서 세부특성 정도가 높게 드러났다. 하지만 다양한 동선에 비해 목적지까지 도달하기 위한 요소가 부족했고, 공원 내 갯골이 흐르는 수변 공간의 쾌적성이 확보되지 않았다. 인천 소래습지생태공원은 도시의 역사적인 맥락과 갯골이라는 친수공간을 적극적으로 활용한 휴식공간으로 역사적 측면에서 세부특성 정도가 높게 나타났다. 하지만 자체적인 내부 행사가 진행되지 않았고, 오수 및 폐기물과연관된 위생 관리가 부족하여 개선이 시급하다. 본 논문은 실증적 평가를 통한 사례 분석이 부족한 상황에서, 객관적 평가 지표를 활용하여 공원이 효율적으로활용되고 있는지 5가지의 특성에 따라 공간 요소를분석하는 방법을 이해하는 데에 유용한 자료가 될 것이다. 또한, 두 공원의 평가 및 분석을 통해 도출된문제점에 대해 개선점을 제시한 후, 향후 이용자 만족도 향상과 공원 개선을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자한다.

Through an empirical evaluation method, this study attempted to evaluate the target site that was previously idle and analyze the spatial elements of the regenerated park at a time when there was a lack of case analysis of unused space regeneration. Accordingly, in order to determine whether the site, which was an unused space in the past, is currently being efficiently used, the spatial evaluation index was reconstructed with five characteristics and compared and analyzed the two target sites. The study was conducted as a literature survey and a field survey. Through a literature survey, the unused space was redefined, and the type and cause of the unused space, problems, and regeneration value were explored. In addition, based on prior research on spatial evaluation indicators, it was reorganized into five items in physical, social, cultural, environmental, and historical aspects, and the final evaluation index was prepared through field trips. This aims to help analyze the characteristics of the park containing the context of the unused space in the future by presenting evaluation criteria to analyze the target site that was an unused space. The study sites were selected as Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park and Incheon Sorae Wetland Ecological Park. The field survey was conducted by visiting three times from May to June 2023 using the framework of analysis.
As a result of the study, Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park has a high degree of detailed characteristics in terms of social and historical aspects by inducing natural participation through continuous programs so that citizens can understand the historical context. However, compared to various routes, there were insufficient elements to reach the destination, and the comfort of the waterfront space where the tidal valley flows in the park was not secured. Incheon Sorae Wetland Ecological Park is a resting place that actively utilizes the historical context of the city and the hydrophilic space of the tidal valley, and has a high degree of detailed characteristics in terms of history. However, internal events have not been carried out on their own, and improvement is urgently needed due to a lack of hygiene management related to sewage and waste. This paper will be useful in understanding how to analyze spatial factors according to five characteristics of the park using objective evaluation indicators in a situation where case analysis through empirical evaluation is insufficient. In addition, after presenting improvement points for problems derived from the evaluation and analysis of the two parks, we would like to provide basic data for improving user satisfaction and park improvement in the future.
