텍스트 해석학적 관점에 의한 한국전통공간디자인 접근에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국전통공간디자인을 해석학에 기반한 텍스트로 간주하여, 현대 공간에 적용할 수 있는 전통공간개념의 입력-해독체계로서 텍스트해석학적 접근방식을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다.
본 연구의 연차별 세부주제와 내용은 다음과 같이 요약된다.
1차년도는 ‘텍스트해석학적 관점에서 한국전통공간의 유형해석에 관한 연구’이다. 한국전통공간의 유형학적 구조로서 한국인의 내재적 의식에 의해 형성된 전통사고에 기반해서 나타나는 전통공간의 공간적 시각적 특성을 옐름슬레우의 구조주의 이론과 원효의 화쟁사상에 근거하여 유형화하고, 전통공간의 현대적 적용에 있어서 전통공간구조의 해석과 도입에 관하여 무의식적 기제로부터 비롯되는 라캉의 은유법과 환유법을 통해 개념적 접근논리를 형성한다.
2차년도는 ‘한국 전통공간디자인 텍스트의 지시작용 해석에 관한 연구’이다. 공간텍스트의 언어학적 해석은 텍스트 구조와 결합하도록 패턴화하는 방식에 관한 것이다. 텍스트의 지시작용이라는 측면에서 전통공간 컨텍스트의 감성, 정신, 본성 등 이미 조직되어 있는 속성들의 장에 디자인 텍스트를 편입시키는 논리를 구체화하여, I호텔 공간디자인을 사례로 서울 궁궐의 공간적 컨텍스트와 디자인 텍스트의 구조를 공간의 구조적 상응관계라는 측면에서 유비적으로 분석하는 틀을 제시한다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 본 연구는 텍스트의 지시작용에 의한 실증주의적 해석방법론이 한국전통의 공간텍스트를 현대의 디자인 텍스트로 재조직화하는 접근논리가 될 수 있음을 제안한다.
3차년도는 ‘한국 전통공간디자인의 도상해석학적 접근에 관한 연구’이다. 도상해석학의 내용과 구조를 공간디자인에 도입한 한국전통공간디자인의 도상해석학적 분석으로서, 전통공간의 현대적 변용을 위한 지역차원의 디자인연구라는 측면에서 각각 전도상적 기술, 도상학적 분석, 도상학적 해석을 시도한다. 전도상적 기술에서는 시대 및 장소에 입각한 시각적 표현양식 측면에 대하여 기술한다. 도상학적 분석에서는 도상의 유형을 풍토성, 민속성, 전통성의 세 가지로 범주화한다. 도상학적 해석에서는 의미중첩성의 측면에서 우의성, 이위성, 잠재성 세 가지 관점에서 다룸으로써, 도상해석학이 우리의 심층감성구조와 결합된 집단표상을 표출하는 창조적 환상으로서의 한국전통공간디자인에 접근하는 적합한 체계임을 제시한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to interpret Korean traditional space design as text on the basis of Hermeneutics and to suggest an approach as encoding-decoding system of Korean traditional space concept for contemporary space application.
The details of this study in order of year is illustrated as follows:
The study of the first year is ‘A Study on the Typological Interpretation of Korean Traditional Space in terms of Text Hermeneutics’. As typological structure of traditional space, spacial and visual expressive characteristics in traditional space based on traditional thoughts of Koreans formed with inherent consciousness are structuralized with Hjelmslev‘s Structuralism and Wonhyo's Whajaeng theory. This study tries conceptual analysis based on Lacan's Metaphor and Metonymy emerged from unconscious mechanisms about interpretation and induction of the traditional spacial structure for contemporary Application.
The study of the second year is ‘A Study on the Designation in Korean Traditional Space design Text’. This study is interested in how philological interpretation of a space text were patterned so as to give the text structural cohesion. It concretize a logic that traditional space context is inserted in organized attribute like emotion, spirit, nature as character of contemporary space text through typological structure. From aspect of designation theory among interpretive semantics, it shows that korean contemporary space design text is incorporated with typological structure of korean traditional palace spacial context homologically through the case study of I-Hotel space design. Through this process, this study suggest that positivistic interpretation methodology by designation of text is logical thinking of Korean traditional space design.
The study of the third year is ‘A Study on the Iconological Approach of the Korean Traditional Space Design’. It clarifies Iconology as a method that is applicable logic for Korean space design. As an analysis of korean space design, this study analyse in three steps that are pre-iconological description, iconological analysis, iconological interpretation each in terms of modernization research at regional korean space design. In the step of the pre-iconological description, it describe visual representative style based on era and place. In the step of the iconological analysis, the typical structure is classified in status, vernacular, ethnic, traditional. In the step of the iconological interpretation, connotation is categorized into allegory, multivalence, potential. Through this process, this study suggest that iconology is an appropriate approach system of Korean space design images as creative fantasy that represent symbols combined with our deep emotional structure.
