아동․청소년의 신체증상 관련변인 연구-개인, 부모, 사회적 관계 변인 중심으로- = A Study on the Somatic Symptoms of Youth-Related Variables -Individuals, Parents, and Social Relationships-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of personal characteristics (sex, depression, social withdrawal), parental characteristics (parenting behavior), and social relations (peer relationship, teacher relationship) on somatic symptoms. This study analyzed 2,119 children in the 4th grade in elementary school and 2,080 adolescents in the 1st grade in high school by using the fourth-year panel data(2013) of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS). The collected data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficients and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 23.0. The results are as follows. First, the somatic symptoms of children and adolescents were related to individual characteristics, parenting behavior, and social relations, and showed the highest correlation with individual variables. Second, the variables affecting the somatic symptoms of children were depression, social withdrawal, parental consistency, abuse, and teacher relationship. For adolescents, sexuality, depression and social withdrawal, parental supervision and abuse affected the somatic symptoms. The results of this study can be used as basic data to provide guidance for the counseling of children who complain about somatic symptoms at school and at home.
