조선시대 궁중여인의 예복에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Women's Palace-Ceremonial Costume in the Chosun Dynasty

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the formative beauty of the Korean traditional costume and to observe its changes from the age of the Chosun Dynasty through the modem ages. The scope and the objects of the study are selected from the women's palace-ceremonial costume, which are worn in the traditional-style wedding ceremony in the present days. As the methodology, literature study and observation on the historical costume displayed in the museums combined together. The findings and results of this study is expected to contribute for helping the work of recreating and preserving the traditional costume as a part of the Korean traditional culture. The combination of the formative beauty of the traditional costume and the modem fashion will create more advanced beauty of the fashion.
