조선시대 한문학에 나타난 인간과 자연의 관계 방식에 대하여

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The relationship between Joseon intellectuals and nature is classified into two categories. One is a ‘wait-and-see’ relationship found in a living space, a garden and a cemetery. Another one is a ‘dynamic’ relationship seen in sightseeing (yusanyusu). Joseon intellectuals did not put boundaries between a living space and a cemetery and considered a gravesite as a part of a living space. Also, in gardening they did not distinguish between settings with artificial decorations and with natural ones. Furthermore, enjoying different kinds of sightseeing (yusanyusu) such as pleasure trips (chungyu), wondering from place to place (tangyu) and thrilling sightseeing (jangju), Joseon intellectuals had allegorical experiences of the creative way (jodo; 造道).
Joseon intellectuals desired to spend a lifetime idly in a hazy peacefulness (yeonwol; 煙月). But the word yeonwol (煙月), which literally means “moon in the smoke” refers to ‘house’ and also has the concept of family in its meaning. Furthermore, Joseon intellectuals enjoyed Daoist ideas (hyeonheo; 玄虛) as well as nature, and they favored duty and righteousness, putting weight on feeding minds, rather than engaging in problems of Daoist purification (gyeolsinnanryun; 潔身亂倫). Thus, to the writers of Korean traditional literature, ecological perspectives are considered to be an allegory related to the process of the creative way (jodo; 造道).
