童話口演을 活用한 아버지 敎育 프로그램의 效果 = Effects of Father Education Program Using Storytelling

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the father education program using story telling on the parental involvement of fathers in bringing up of children, the role satisfaction as fathers and the relation between fathers and their children.
Twenty seven fathers with three to five year old children who have kept those residences in Jeonju city took part in the experiment, which consisted of twelve fathers as an experiment group and fifteen fathers as control group, respectively. It was measured to evaluate the effect of the program in terms of the parental involvement of fathers, role satisfaction as fathers and relation between fathers and children. The experiment of this study was carried out with eight sessions during eight weeks. The father education program using storytelling was done for two hours a week. The collected data were calculated by computer through encoding process using SPSS 12.0 for Windows. They were analyzed by t-test and paired t-test to verify the difference between groups.
On the basis of experiment results, it was founded out that father education program using storytelling had the various effects depending on the experiment fields. First of all, in the role satisfaction as fathers, the program affected on the promotion of the role satisfaction as fathers, communication satisfaction with child and satisfaction as the head of a family. However it yielded not any promotion in the satisfaction with their own leaderships and processes of their growths in the statistics. Meanwhile, the program had an influence on the promotion of the developmental support of fathers, care giving and monitoring of fathers except the activity with their children in the parental involvement of fathers in bringing up of children. Moreover, the program was useful to promote of the familiarity and to decrease the conflict. On the other hand, there was no worth to decrease the reliance between fathers and children.
