This study explored the perceptions of spirituality types in relation to cultural differences among three Korean-American cultural subsets in the Korean Evangelical Church of America in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area through 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, and 2011 summer retreats. Survey questionnaires were distributed over a period of five years with four questions on demographics: gender, grade, born-again experience, and immigrant status. Self-reported responses came from 718 participants. Based on the data analysis by SPSS, Pearson Chi Square level, this study found that there are cultural differences on the perceptions of spirituality types among three subsets of Korean-American youth. With the results of the data analysis, this study provided some suggestions for Korean-American youth ministry in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
