This research was to check if the aqua-therapy program was effective to the extensor muscle strength of Quadriceps, Static Balance, Body composition for elderly women who had degenerative arthritis. This research has been formulated through observing the change after performing aqua-therapy exercises to 13 elderly female patients of SungNam public health center, who had degenerative arthritis, for 16 weeks, 2 times a week, 60 minutes each time. We came to the following conclusion as a result of our research. From the result of this research, the aqua-therapy program showed good effect on the extensor muscle strength of Quadriceps, Static Balance, and Body composition for the elderly women patients who had degenerative arthritis For the elderly people who felt burdened with on-ground exercise, the aqua-therapy exercises was considered to be a very useful therapeutic program. On the basis of the result of this research, we need to apply a Task Oriented Approach program according to the patient's condition rather than a general approach.
