부부의 MBTI성격유형의 유사성과 의사소통 및 결혼만족도의 관계 = The relationships among spouse`s similarity of MBTI psychological types and marital communication, marital satisfaction

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among marital communication, marital satisfaction, and the husbands` and wives` personality types. The samples consisted of 211 couples living around in the Seoul metropolitan areas. The subjects were surveyed according to the demographic variables, the husband`s and wife`s MBTI psychological types, the level of marital communication, and the degree of marital satisfaction. The results can be summarized as follows : First, the level of communication was related positively to the degree of marital satisfaction. Second, the similarity and the consistency of the spouse`s personality types showed a positive relationships to spouse`s communication and marital satisfaction. Third, the most influential MBTI scale was S/N both in spouse`s communication and marital satisfaction. And the second influential scale was T/F in spouse`s communication, and J/P in marital satisfaction. This study is meaningful in point that it proves spouse`s psychological similarity influence the marital communication and the marital satisfaction, and what the influential factors, according to surveying the experiences of couples with combinations of personality types. On the basis of these results, it was concluded that there is difference of the spouses` communication level and the degree of marital satisfaction by the demographic variables.
