엘리트 스포츠 선수 집단의 인권침해 경험에 대한 현상학적 연구 = A Phenomenological Study on the Experience of Human Rights Violation in the Elite Sports Athlete Group

The purpose of this study is to identify the nature of human rights violations occurring in the group through examples of their experiences for members belonging to elite sports players, and to explore the cause and reason of the case. To this end, phenomenological research methods were applied, and analysis data were collected and used for analysis through literature research, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews for about four months from June to October 2022, and the meaning of the analysis experience is as follows. First, the component was derived as “the experience of human rights violations of elite sports players”, and the sub-elements were derived as “invisible personal secretaries” and “shackles of group life”. Second, the components were derived as “the method of human rights violations among members of the elite sports player group”, and the sub-factors were derived as “inheritance of culture”, “discrimination”, “unspoken pressure”, and “a right of immunity called training”. Third, the components were derived as “the cause and reason for human rights violations within the elite sports player group”, and the sub-factors were “prejudice against the group”, “silence”, “defensive attitude”, and “a meaningless education system”.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 엘리트 스포츠 선수 집단에 소속된 구성원을 대상으로, 그들의 경험의 사례를 통해 집단에서 발생하는 인권침해 현상의 본질을 파악하고, 해당 사례의 원인과 이유를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하였으며, 분석 자료는 2022년 6월부터 10월까지 약 4개월간 문헌조사, 참여관찰, 심층면담을 통해 수집하여 분석에 활용했다. 분석한 경험의 의미는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구성요소는 ‘엘리트 스포츠 선수의 인권침해 경험’으로 도출되었으며, 하위요소는 ‘보이지 않는 개인비서’, ‘단체생활의 굴레’로 도출하였다. 둘째, 구성요소는 ‘엘리트 스포츠 선수 집단 내 구성원 간의 인권침해 방식’으로 도출되었으며, 하위요소는 ‘문화의 대물림’, ‘차별’, ‘무언의 압박’ ‘훈련이라는 면책권’으로 도출되었다. 셋째, 구성요소는 ‘엘리트 스포츠 선수 집단 내 인권침해의 원인과 이유’으로 도출되었으며, 하위요소는 ‘집단에 대한 편견’, ‘침묵’, ‘방어적 태도’, ‘유명무실한 교육제도’로 도출되었다.
