      The bio-dynamic farming method has developed in Europe in 1924 by Steiner, R. He held 8 lectures to farmers at that time and this is a beginning history of biodynnamic farming method in Europe and the United States. There are some results of experiments of bio-dynamic preparations in various plants in Europe and the United States. The yields are higher in various plants in first year in comparison with other kinds of farming methods such as conventional and organic farming. It is found that bio-dynamic preparation has a higher yield, when yield of plants are lower in comparison with other methods. If the yield is higher, effect of preparation is also higher in yield. The quality of products are better than conventional chemical farming method. The Demeter is a name of product produced by bio-dynamic farming method and sold all over the world. There are at present 100,000 bio-dynamic farmers in the United States at present and they sold their product to consumers as community supported agriculture. There is no research on economic analysis of bio-dynamic farms, however the level of price is a little higher than conventional products. Bio-dynamic farmers should work more to prepare manure and to spray preparation. The quality of soil is a best condition as well as quality of ground water. The bio-dynamic farming method can certainly contribute to keep good soil and water(both drinking and ground) quality in Korea in future.
