Fair Revenue Sharing for Public Transportation System in Seoul Metropolitan Area = 협조적 게임이론 접근법에 의한 수도권 대중교통의 수입금 배분

국문 초록 (Abstract)

2004년 7월 1일, 서울시는 대중교통체계를 개편하면서 새로운 교통카드와 요금 지불방식을 실시하였다. 그 후 대중교통 수단간 무료 환승 시스템이 실시되어 서울시 당국은 대중교통 이용자들로 받은 이익금을 대중교통수단간 배분해 주어야 하는 문제가 생겼다. 현재 대중교통수단간 이익금 배분방법은 버스-지하철간은 기본요금의 비율대로 배분하여 주고, 지하철간에서는 처음탑승기관에 모든 이익금을 배분한다. 이러한 이익금 배분방법은 승객이 이용한 노선에 이익금을 전혀 배분하지 않는 결과를 가져 올 수 있어 공평하지 않은 배분이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 불공평성을 해결하기위해 본 연구에서는 네트워크 게임이론을 이용하여 대중교통 수단간의 공평한 이익금 배분방법을 제시했다. 네트워크게임이론을 이용하여 현실에 적합한 모델을 세우고 협조적 게임이론에서 널리 쓰이고 있는 해의 개념인 샤플리 벨류를 적용하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 현재 배분방법과 논문에서 제시한 샤플리 벨류에 의한 배분결과를 비교하기위해 실제 대중교통 자료를 이용한 실증분석을 추가 하였다.

A new fare schedule was announced for the Seoul metropolitan area to take effect on July 1, 2004 with the introduction of a new payment card for use of the public transportation system. The card allows for the tracking of traffic patterns, which makes it possible to figure out how the public transportation system’s revenue is allocated among various bus and subway companies. In this paper, we investigate the properties of various revenue sharing rules by using the cooperative game theoretic approach.
