춘원과 『창조』 = 근대 문단 형성의 한 양상

This thesis is studying on one aspect of Korean modern literary world´s formation by the research for the relation of Chunwon Leekwangsu and Changjo. As the result, we could see that 「Thinking K teacher」, Leehichul´s work printed in Changjo vo1.5 was the definite moment to make Chunwon contribute his works to Changjo. Of course, Leehichul´s work is no more than a sort of letter to Chunwon who not only taught young and poor Leehichul, but also privately took care of him at Osan school. But the significant point we can indicate about 「Thinking K teacher」is the fact that Leehichul is missing Leekwangsu very much in his work. However, the most important thing is the fact that in his work Leehichul always calls Chunwon `teacher`. For it clears up the complicated problem related with Chunwon´s position in Changjo and it´s coterie members which had probably prevented Chunwon from writing works for Changjo. That is, by the publishing 「Thunking K teacher」Which is calling Chunwon `teacher` in their own magazine, the members of Changjo who had denied the chief editor own magazine, the members of Changjo who had denied the chief editor and emphasized equal responsibility could recognize Chunwon to be their teacher or senior indirectly. So that is the reason why Leehichul who was not a coterie of Changjo but just a pressman could publish his work in Changjo. And this whole situation this thesis found out helps us to see the real meaning of Chunwon´s 「Literary men and Chltivation(문사와 수양)」published in Changjo vo1.8, for in this essay Chunwon tried to be a elder adviser for young writers. It accords with the Leehichul´s attitude toward chunwon. In this way, Changjo, the first Korean literary coterie magazine mediated a vertical axis into early modern literary world´s formation. And it also made the history of modern Korean literature start. It is another significance of Changjo.
