한 일 비언어 이미지 코퍼스 구축

국문 초록 (Abstract)

텍스트언어 기반의 코퍼스(corpus)는 언어학의 세계에 있어서 주로 특정 언어 현상의 분석을 위한 연구적 목적으로 사용되는 것이 일반적이다. 본 연구는 비언어 커뮤니케이션(non-verbal communication) 구현 방식을 활용한 사진 등의 이미지를 텍스트언어에 부가해, 기존의 연구적 목적뿐만 아니라 교육적, 실용적으로도 활용할 수 있는 한・일 2개 국어 공용 이미지 코퍼스 구축을 목표로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 드라마, <꽃보다 남자>(전22화x약 1시간 분량)의 스크립트 분석을 통하여 추출된 표제어들을 대상으로 각각의 텍스트 언어에 대표 이미지가 링크시켰다. 이들 표제어들을 기반으로 한 본 연구의 이미지 코퍼스 데이터베이스 구축방식을 정리하면 다음과 같다.

· 메타 검색엔진을 통한 웹 산재 기존 이미지의 활용
· 현지 투입을 통한 이미지 자료 수집
· 스마트 기기 어플리케이션 개발을 통한 직접 구현

또한 표제어를 바탕으로 구축된 이미지 코퍼스 데이터베이스를 기반으로 본격적인 한국어 태깅(tagging) 작업을 수행하였다. 이러한 한국어 태깅 작업 과정에서 한·일 양국 간의 문화적 공통점과 차이점이 구체적으로 발견되었는데, 이는 기존 틀의미론(frame semantics)의 단일 프레임의 한계를 보완한 이준서(2013)의 ‘문화이미지프레임(Cultural Image Frame-CIF)’의 기반이 되었다. 또한 문화적 차이점을 반영한 일본어의 이미지 프레임을 충분히 활용한 일본어 교육의 효과성이 이준서(2012)에서 검증되었다. 즉, 본 연구를 통해 구축된 이미지 코퍼스 데이터베이스가 소스 데이터가 되고 있는 일본어 교육 플랫폼의 하나인 웹 이미지사전(이준서 & 한경수 (2011))의 교육적 활용 가능성을 기대할 수 있는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to construct multilingual Japanese-Korean non-verbal image corpus by using visual images such as pictures of daily lives. With this effort, we pursue to satisfy educational & practical usages as well as academical purpose such as follows.

· Simultaneous Understanding of Language and Culture by presenting cultural distinction
and commonality
· Application of Multilingual image Corpus to language learning and education
· Development of Internet-Based Education Platform for foreign language Learning Models

We have used the Japanese drama of 'Hanayori dango' which was also re-made in Korea in order to extract index headwords. By analysing the common drama, we could specify cultural commonalities and differences across two countries. The three ways of building the image corpus database are as follows.

· The meta-search engine which has been created by Lee & Han(2011)
· On site collection by direct photographing
· The mobile application to upload images which have direct link to word's meaning by
tagging informations.
