한국 관리회계학회의 실무적 연구동향에 대한 소고：「관리회계연구」를 분석대상으로 = A Brief Review on the Trends of Practical－Oriented Management Accounting Research in Management Accounting Association of Korea

[Purpose]This study is aimed to examine the trends of field－oriented practical management accounting research carrying out for the past 17 years, focusing on 「Korean journal of management accounting research(KJMAR)」 and to make some suggestions for future research.
[Methodology]This study collects a total of 212 papers from the first issue of the KJMAR (2001.6) to the 17th volume (2017.12) and analyzes these issues classified into the first stage (2001～2010) and the second stage (2011～2017).
[Findings]First, the annual average published paper is increased from 11 in the first stage to 14 in the second stage. In addition, the number of participating researchers by year is also increased to 32.7 in the second stage comparing with 27.3 in the first stage. Second, in the characteristics of research behaviors, 158(74.5 percent) are collaborated with 2 or 3 authors. In research methodology, empirical studies and case studies are published 107(50.4%) and 48(22.6%), respectively. In methodological behaviors, empirical research methodology and case studies co－authored with 2 or 3 researchers are published 88(82.2%) and 33(68.8%), respectively. And out of the total 48 of the case studies, 23 were field workers, so－called industrial－academic cooperation, with a high participation rate of 47.9 percent. Finally, the analysis shows that, in current status of research topics, BSC 24(11.3%), asymmetrical behavior of cost 23(10.8%), agency problem 16(7.5%) are published as major interests.
[Implications]This study shows that performances of research that have been jointly developed with current industry companies are the main stream of research topics that are deeply related to the field of practice in KJMAR comparing with other journals. And Korea Management Accounting Association has greatly contributed to the activation of field－based practical management accounting research and thus, the research topics, methodologies, and research forms have diversified.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

[연구목적]본 연구의 목적은 한국관리회계학회 출범 이후, 학술지 「관리회계연구」에 게재된 논문을 중심으로 지난 17년간 수행해 온 현장중심의 실무지향형 관리회계연구의 동향을 살펴보고, 향후 관심을 가져야 할 부분에 대해 제안하고자 한다.
[연구방법]분석 대상은 「관리회계연구」의 창간호 제1권(2001.6)부터 제17권(2017.12)까지 게재된 총 212편의 논문으로 전반기(2001～2010)와 후반기(2011～2017)로 나누어 연구자 행태, 연구 주제 및 연구 방법 등을 살펴본다.
[연구결과]분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연평균 발표논문이 전반기 11개보다 후반기에 14개로 증가하였다. 또한 연도별 참여연구자의 현황 역시 전반기 27.3명에 비해 후반기에 32.7명으로 증가하였다. 둘째, 연구주제별 현황에서는 BSC가 24개(11.3%), 비대칭적 원가행태가 23개(10.8%), 대리문제가 16개(8.1%) 순으로 주요 관심대상이다. 셋째, 게재논문의 세부 분야를 확인한 결과 연구자 행태에서는 2～3인 공동연구가 158개(74.5%)로 가장 많고, 연구방법론에서는 실증연구 107개(50.4%)와 사례연구 48개(22.6%)순으로 나타났다. 방법론별 연구행태에서는 2～3인 공동연구자에 의한 실증적 연구방법은 82.2%이고 2～3인 공동연구자에 의한 사례연구는 68.8%였다. 마지막으로 사례연구 총 48편 중 산학 협동 연구는 23편으로 47.9%의 높은 현업관계자의 참여비율을 보였다.
[연구의 시사점]본 연구의 기여도는 한국관리회계학회가 현장중심의 실무적 관리회계 연구의 활성화에 기여한 바가 크다는 점을 규명한 점이다. 산학협동 연구 분위기가 크게 조성되었고 그 결과 연구주제, 방법론, 연구형태 등이 다양해진 점을 확인하였다. 특히, 「관리회계연구」에서는 실무현장과 깊은 관련을 갖는 연구주제를 현업종사자들과 공동으로 연구한 성과들이 주류를 형성한다는 점을 제시하였다.
