This study aimed to develop a 12-week core training program to improve the training and performance of male college basketball players. Twelve male basketball players from K City L University were divided into Group A (control) and Group B (core training group) and their core stability was analyzed. Group B received anatomy-focused exercise therapy for 60 minutes, three times a week, at an RPE of 6-8 for 12 weeks. Pre- and post-training group and group-period interactions were analyzed (SPSS 20.0). Results showed no significant differences between groups in 0° and -90° for both Group A and B, and no significant differences were found in the group-period interaction analysis. Group B showed significant differences between groups in +90° and 180°, and the group-period interaction was significant only in these periods. As a result, a core stability training program using body weight or simple small equipment was applied considering the anatomical aspect, but considering that they are college athletes, it is thought that a program design that adjusts the intensity including resistance is necessary to analyze the difference, and considering the dominant foot, it is thought that a training program that considers the back area and balance rather than the left-right balance of the abdomen and torso is necessary.
