다문화 가정 영유아 보육 문제에 대한 교사의 개별적 대응에 대한 분석적 검토 = 일본의 M보육소 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 다문화 가정 영유아 보육에서 발생하는 문제는 무엇이며, 그 문제 해결을 위해 교사가 다문화 가정 영유아 및 그 부모에 대해 개별적으로 어떻게 대응하는지를 알아보는데 있었다. 이를 위해 전체 재원 아동 176명 가운데, 81명의 다문화 가정 영유아가 재원하고 있는 일본의 M보육시설을 대상으로 자료 분석 및 교사와의 인터뷰를 통해서 사례를 수집하였다. 그 결과, 다문화 가정 영유아 보육의 주요 문제로서는 「부적응」, 「착의, 탈의」, 「식습관이나 음식」, 「보육내용」, 「언어」, 「기본적 생활습관 형성」등의 문제 사례가 발견되었다. 이런 문제 해결을 위한 대응 방식에서 영유아에 대해서는 기본적으로 자립을 지원하는 접근을 하고 있었으며, 부모에 대한 대응에서는 부모의 보육관이나 아동관에 구애받지 않고, 영유아의 건강한 신체적, 심리적 발달적 측면에서 부모의 이해와 협조를 구하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate what is the main problem caused by childcare from multi-cultural family and to figure out how teachers response to children and their parents from multi-cultural family to solve the problem. In order to achieve its purpose, examples are collected from M daycare center, which is caring 81 children from multi-cultural family out of 176 children in total. The collected examples include interview with teachers and analysis on daily records. As a result of this study, the main problem of childcare from multi-cultural family is as follows. A maladjustment behavior in familiar environment, problems of children’s dressing (undressing) code, eating habits and food, contents of childcare, language problems, problems of daily time practice. In order to solve those problems, two measures have been conducted in M daycare center. When it comes to children, teachers were giving them support that helps children be more independent. And for their parents, asking them to be cooperative in promoting children’s physical and psychological development. However, if it’s hard to get parents’ cooperative support, teachers have tried to find compromise with them through continued conversation.
