1960년대 참여시와 경제 균등의 사상 = 4월혁명 직후 경제민주주의 담론을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

1960년대 참여시에 대한 연구는 일반적으로 자유와 민주주의를 위한 현실비판의 주제로 한정되는 경향이 있다. 그러나 4월혁명 전후로 발표된 시들은 민주주의와 자유뿐만 아니라 ‘경제균등’에 대한 정동을 뚜렷이 드러낸다. 특히 『민족일보』를 비롯한 현실참여적인 여러 매체를 통해서 빈곤, 노동, 경제균등에 대한 문제의식을 드러내는 시들이 발표되고 있다. 이러한 흐름은 4월혁명 직후 활발히 논의된 경제민주주의 담론과 무관하지 않다. 4월혁명은 일반적으로 자유와 민주주의의 쟁취를 위한 것으로 알려져 있지만, 그 이면에 작용하고 있었던 하층민의 경제적 불만을 주목하지 않을 수 없다. 4월혁명 직후의 경제민주주의 담론이 그 방증이다. 1960년대 초반의 참여시가 이러한 경제균등의 정동을 표출하고 있었다는 사실은 60년대 참여시의 알려지지 않은 이면을 확인시켜준다. 4월혁명을 전후로 경제균등의 열망을 드러냈던 참여시의 양상은 당대의 경제민주주의 담론과 무관하지 않은 것이다. 이러한 사실은 1970년대에 본격화되는 민중시, 노동시, 농민시의 기원이 어디서 비롯되고 있는지를 보여준다고 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The studies on 1960s" engagement poetry generally have tended to be limited to subject such as liberty and democracy. But the poems around the April Revolution showed palpably affect for not only democracy and liberty but also economic equality. A plenty of poems, critical about poverty, labor exploitation and economic inequality, were published in several engaging media including "Minjok-ilbo" particularly. Such flow was relevant to discourse of economic democracy which was actively discussed immediately after the April Revolution. Though being known as mainly pursuing liberty and democracy, the April Revolution must need to be focused on economic complaint, which related to discourse of economic democracy, in people of lower classes beneath its surface. It is an unknown fact that engagement poetry of 1960"s had expressed affect for economic equality. That is to say, aspect of engagement poetry revealing aspirations for economic equality isn"t independent of discourse of economic democracy. This fact demonstrates what people poetry, labor poetry and peasant poetry regularized in 1970s resulted from.
