The physical phases of the geography of Arizona, USA are diverse, an few generalizations can be draw about the state as a whole. the state can be divided into three major physical regions, the plateau, the Basin and Range and Mountain Distract. There are tremendous variety among three regions in such thing as landforms, climates, vegetation and soils.
The plateau region in high, open and cut by deep gash. The basin and range, meanwhile, is also open and flat, but it is divided by long, narrow mountain ranges and is almost excluding desert. Tha Mountain District of Arizona is a transition zone between the plateau and the Basin and Range region. This is a very rugged area with many mountain groups. There are several important mountain groups in the district, often seperated by large valley. Climate is also diverse in haying many climatical areas, varying from a subtropical desert on the lower Colorado to arctic conditions existing on top of the San Francisco Mountains. Altitude is far and away the major factor influncing climate is Arizona. There will be a great deal of dust in the air around thunderheads. Haboob is an interesting type of duststorm. Air that rises in many miles from the thunderhead. Many factors determine the vegetation in Arizona. some such as precipitation, altitude and temperature are quite obvious, but on a smaller scale, factors such as precipitation, altitude an temperature are quite obvious, but on a smaller scale, factors such as soil type, slope and exposure are very important The many types of vegetation in Arizna can be divided into from main groups : alpine forest grasslands, desert shrub. The state of Arizona is an urban state because of its populating living in the urban areas and fascinating place, because of its history and its diversity of physical environment.
