This study focuses on the strategic positioning plan necessary for Korean casino industry to cope with the changes occurred in the domestic casino market in the US. It is expected that overseas casino operators in more matured markets may enter into Korea due to the restrictive American gaming laws making it hard to expand within the US. Although there are numerous negative aspects of casino but these can be offset with the perceived benefits such as employment growth, greater tax revenue, growth in foreign receipt and local retail sales. This study pinpoints what`s happening in the domestic casino market in the US and its implication towards Asian casino market including Korea. Number of points were raised to cope with the environmental changes.
