      The present study attempted to examine what the main variables influence on the interpersonal relationship and what kind of college communication education programs needs to improve the interpersonal relationship of the Students in Multicultural society. Some of the major findings are as follows; 1. The Main variables influencing on the interpersonal relationship are a self esteem and self concept, a personality and the differences of the recognition about muticultural society 2. In order to improve the college communication programs we need to consider several new cultural elements such as the development of a positive self concept, the reflection of multiculturality, the general approach on interpersonal communication process, the progress of students` multicultural communication competence and the increase of iterpersonal communication practice programs.
