집단따돌림 피해의 유발 및 지속요인

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 집단따돌림 피해의 유발 및 지속요인을 밝힘으로써 피해의 예방 및 피해아의 중재시 보다 효과적인 개입방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 중ㆍ고등학생에 비해 집단따돌림이 더욱 빈번하게 발생하는 초등학교 4학년을 5학년까지 피해지속여부에 따라 피해 탈피, 피해 시작, 피해 지속으로 구분하여 일반집단과 피해집단 및 피해 탈피집단과 피해 지속집단을 구분하는 요인을 파악하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 한국청소년패널조사 초 4패널 1, 2차년도 데이터를 활용하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 첫째, 남아와 여아 모두 피해 탈피, 피해 시작, 피해 지속 순으로 빈도가 높았으며, 남아에 비해 여아의 피해 개입 빈도가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 신체ㆍ외모 스트레스 및 우울ㆍ불안 수준이 높거나 자아존중감 수준이 낮을 경우 피해가 유발될 가능성이 높고, 피해아의 부정적 친구관계 스트레스 수준이 높거나 부모 감독 수준이 낮을 경우 피해가 지속될 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study was to explore the important variables at play that can be used to predict the inducement and continuance of peer victimization using the dataset from the Korean Youth Panel Study (Cohorts of primary school fourth-graders). The major findings are as follows; ① The largest proportion of the category of those suffering continuing victimization amongst both boys and girls was escaped victims, followed by new victims and continuing victims. In addition, girls had higher levels of involvement in terms of victimization than boys. ② The factors which contributed to or induced peer victimization were physical-appearance, stress, depression-anxiety, and self esteem. ③ The factors influencing the continuation of peer victimization were negative peer-related stress and parental monitoring.
