관광분야 NCS 기반 교육과정 개발과 적용에 관한 연구 = Study on the Development and Application of a Curriculum Based on National Competency Standard in Tourism Field

The objective of this study is to explore the possibility of adopting NCS(National Competency Standard) into the curriculum for 4 year universities which has not spread as widely as it is among junior colleges and academic institutions. Content analysis was carried out to support the research problem and samples used in the research were tourism related departments at 4 year universities. Findings from the study were as follows; Firstly, it is urged to identify the core competency required by the tourism field to forster a prospective labor force. Secondly, it is also necessary to identify possible problems in applying NCS into the curriculum for 4 year universities so that solutions to possible problems could be suggested. Thirdly, ideal curriculum for 4 year universities could be suggested in developing and establishing the curriculum through NCS application.
