고령화 사회 노인복지정책의 개선방안 연구 = The Study on Plans to Improve Eldery Welfare Policy in the Aged Society

In this study, the problems with social systems for the aged are synthetically examined among welfare policies in Korea. In particular, the current status and problems with 4 sectors such as income guarantee policy, medical insurance policy, housing guarantee policy and social service policy concerning welfare system for the aged are focused. In this regard, the previous study of welfares examples in foreign countries is analyzed and the conclusion will be made.
Study totally consists of 5 chapters and the study details of each chapter are as follows.
In the first chapter, as the introduction, the purpose, scope and way of this study are described. the second chapter, as the theoretical background of welfare for the aged, the concept and meaning of welfare for the aged and the background and principle of the problems concerning the aged are examined. the third chapter, the actual condition of welfare policy for the aged in Korea is firstly investigated by sectors, and then the current welfare situation in advanced welfare countries such as Sweden, England, America, Japan, etc. is examined by sectors.the fourth chapter, based upon the details mentioned in previous chapters, the problems of current welfare system are investigated by sectors and the improvement plan is supposed.the fifth chapter, as the conclusion, details of 4 welfare policies for the aged in the previous chapters are summarized and synthesized, and the suggestion is finally made for the improvement.
