Teachers have responsibility to provide a variety of experiences and opportunities and to accomplish helping students out. Therefore, if only male or female teachers are dominate in a school, questions about a suitable teaching method can be occurred. Recently, many female teachers have participated in the primary schools, and the feminization inclination can be found in teachers.
The objectives of this study were to investigate the effect of the feminization inclination on teaching responsibility and activities and to find a reasonable alternative. For this study, a lot of literature reviews reported by J. C. Kim, W. H. Chunk, W. S. Chunk, T. S. Chunk, L. M. Walter, and SS. Mazola were used for the roles of teachers, characteristics of female teachers, and feminization of teaching. There were many different definitions of teacher's role. But in this study, the following means were used : (1) the role of class manager. (2) the role of teaching leader. (3) the role of education research. (4) the role of extraordinary activity. (5) the role of practical education, and (6) the role of manager for school activity.
The feminization of teaching is a worldwide trend and this phenomenon is rapidly increased in Korea recently. 86 percent of new teachers are women in 1997. This percentage can be predicted that feminization of teaching will be more obvious. There are some reason to increase female teachers. Teaching job is suitable to women, easy to jump into social main stream and decrease attraction of teaching job between in male. This job is particularly suitable to women because it is easy for them to get this job.
In order to study the positive or negative effect of the feminization inclination on teacher's conducts, a survey was Carried out in seoul, kyounkee province, Chinas province, and Chinook province. A total of 460 questionnaires was distributed, and 398 among them were collected to analyze x^(2) test.
As a result, for the feminization of teaching and Class manager, the feminization was turned out to be an important influence on Class manager. Time allotment for surrounding and facility management in a classroom by female teachers was greater than sale teachers as positive side, whereas the feminization of Children and practical education are problems in the negative side. In the feminization of teaching and practical education, positive sides were reduction of punishment, active music art time, preparation of teaching materials and guidance of problem students. otherwise, in negative sides were excise, particle education, lateness, early leave, absence and postpartum Care. There were no negative and positive effect on the studying improvement.
In the feminization and education research, material research was a good point, whereas passive participation of research Class and lack of research presentation were indicated as negative sides.
In the feminization and extraordinary activity, overall guidance of extraordinary activity was found to be a positive side, whereas weak guidance of specific exercise was negative side.
For the feminization and practical education, counselling with students and parents was positive side, whereas lack of quick response, practical education of off-school, and leading skill during school activity were negative sides.
For the manager for school activity, active participation of program was regaled as positive side by female teachers, whereas male teachers do not agree with this matter, typically by male teachers who had 20 year careers.
