It is fashion makeup that has been becoming more and more influential in the fashion collection, which is a leading fashion trend, Among others, smoky makeup, which may be a representative style of Goth makeup appearing to satisfy the emotional needs of people in the 21st century, has been introduced to deliver experimental and strong impressions in various fashion collections beginning in the 2000s. As a makeup well-suited to the pursuit of diverse images in a revival style, smoky makeup has been used in many collections, cosmetics and clothing advertisements. Smoky makeup can express a variety of images including the masculine image, sexy female image, punk image, decadent image, and futuristic image. The expressive techniques of smoky makeup may be classified as a style that emphasizes thick and clear eye lines, a style that underpins eye holes on which colors were spread up to the eye hole area, a style that stresses eyes which are colored wide crosswise, a style that accentuates the entire eye area, and a style that puts emphasis on the underlines of the eyes.
