眞表律師의 스승 順濟法師에 대한 검토 = A Rview on Vnaya-dhara Jinpyo's Tacher Darma-bhāṇaka Sunje

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In relation with Jinpyo, there remain fragmentary records of his teacher Sunje. Although the records of Sunje are fragmented, it is clear that he had exerted a great influence on Jinpyo when considering their contexts,.
According to the records on Sunje, he was taught by Seondo Samjang(善道三藏) when studying in Chinese Tang, and then went to Odaesan to receive the five precepts from Mañjuśri-bodhisattva.
Up to now, Seondo(善道) was considered to be the same as Seondo(善道), the third leader of the Chinese Jeongtojong sect. However, because of the big temporal gap between Seondo(善導) and Sunje, their relationship as teacher-student seems impossible. For this reason, in this paper, Seondo(善道) is judged to be a miss recording of Seonmuoe(善無畏). This theory can be verified through the fact that Seondo(善道) was never called as Samjang(三藏), while Seonmuoe was called as Muoesamjang(無畏三藏).
In addition, the structure that Sunje met Mañjuśri-bodhisattva in Odaesan and received the five precepts is similar to that of dharma-bhāṇaka Jajang(慈藏律師) that had preceded them about a century ago. This makes us recognize Sunje as a vinaya-dhara as well. Thus, it can be judged that the genealogy of vinaya-dhara was passed down through Sunje to Jinpyo. In other words, it would be possible to see Jinpyo from a new viewpoint of vinaya-dhara.
