A Study on the scheme for establishment of welfare facilities for the elderly within apartment complex|RISS 상세보기

In Korea, the culture of living in an apartment has spread rapidly and the ratio of the households living in an apartment has surpassed that of the households living in a detached house, and regarding the residential types, even the elderly living alone and elderly couples who live in an apartment are also increasing.
In this study, as we live in the rapidly aging society, the factors considered important in installation of welfare facilities for the elderly will be discussed, and the importance of each factor will be examined by the Analytic Hierarchy Process through a survey on the perception of experts. Based on that, the factors which may influence the installation of welfare facilities for the elderly and the degree of influence of each factor will be suggested. The analysis of the importance of each factor indicated that the reflection of residents' opinions, the location of facilities, and the facility type have significant influence on installing facilities, and it seems that these factors need to be reflected on the installation schemes.
