Thermal behaviors and reaction characteristics of concentric annular type integrated reactor(catalytic combustor plus steam reformer) according to the change of operating conditions in power generating system with a molten carbonate fuel cell were studied experimentally. Off gases emitted from anode of MCFC were used as a fuel in catalytic combustion. Heat generated in catalytic combustor was utilized as heat of endothermic reaction required in steam reforming. Especially, Inlet gas compositions of catalytic combustor according to fuel utilization in MCFC and steam to carbon ratio in reformer of integrated reactor were varied. Fundamental data from this experimental study will be worth in designing and making a more practical integrated reactor in the future.
