The research question of this study is how managers solve a problem of fit among environment, strategy, and structure variables. It is delineated that managers can gain an optimal combination between organizational factors and context through very simplified management principles, dominant logics. To gain an emipirical evidence, a case study on the Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company and the founder J.Y. Chung was performed. From the study, it was found that J.Y. Chung solved a problem of multiple contingencies among environment, strategy, and structure through the dominant logics specific to J.Y Chung. `immediate action` and `save time` principles. Limitations of the current study were presented at the end of the study.
