인터넷 중독 유형에 따른 청소년의 온-오프라인 친구관계 = 게임, 채팅, 음란물을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 인터넷 중독 유형을 게임, 채팅, 음란물등 세 유형으로 구분하고 이에 따른 온라인과 오프라인 친구관계 기능 및 만족감의 차이를 규명하였다. 연구대상은 서울ㆍ경기지역의 중ㆍ고등학교 1, 2학년 675명중 선별된 게임중독자(41명), 채팅중독자(49명), 음란물중독자(20명)로 총 110명이었다. 사용된 척도는 인터넷게임중독 진단척도, 인터넷채팅중독 진단척도, 사이버섹스중독 검사항목, 친구관계 척도였다. 첫째, 인터넷 중독 유형에 따른 오프라인 친구관계는 기능에서만 차이를 보였고, 만족감에서는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 오프라인 친구관계의 기능의 경우 채팅중독집단이 게임중독집단보다 ‘정서적 안정’의 긍정적 기능을 높게 지각하였고, 음란물중독집단은 게임중독집단보다 ‘신뢰’와 ‘교제의 즐거움’등 2개의 긍정적 기능을 높게 지각하였다. 그리고 채팅중독집단과 음란물중독 집단은 게임중독집단보다 ‘친밀감’의 긍정적 기능을 높게 지각하였다. 둘째, 인터넷 중독 유형에 따른 온라인 친구관계는 기능 및 만족감에서 모두 차이를 보이지 않았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study sought to investigate both the differences of functions as well as the levels of satisfaction of off-line and on-line friendships within different types of internet addiction. The internet addiction types were divided into three categories; on-line gaming, chatting, and cybersex addiction. The subjects were 110 students (game addicts: 41, chatting addicts: 49, cybersex addicts:20) in the 1st and 2nd grades of middle school and high school, located in the Seoul and Gyeong-gi areas.
The results were as follows. First, there were significant differences in off-line friendship functions as well as satisfaction levels among adolescent groups amongst the three different types of internet addiction. Chatting addicts had higher levels of the positive function of ‘emotional security’ than game addicts. And cybersex addicts had higher levels of two positive function of ‘trust’, 'associate pleasure' than gaming addicts. Additionally, chatting and cybersex addicts had higher levels of the positive function of ‘intimacy’ than gaming addicts.
Second, there were no significant differences in the on-line friendship functions or satisfaction among adolescent groups with different types of internet addiction.
