검정제도 시행에 따른 초등사회과 교과서 구성체계 및 내용변화 양상 분석 : 2022년 적용 예정인 초등사회과 3-4학년군 검정 교과서를 중심으로 = Analysis of the Unit Framework and Content Change Aspects of Elementary Social Studies Textbooks According to the Implementation of The Authorization System: Focusing on the Elementary Social Studies 3rd and 4th Grade Group Authorized Textbooks to be Applied in 2022

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the unit framework and content change aspects of elementary social studies authorized textbooks that will be applied, for the first time in 2022, according to the implementation of the authorization system. For this purpose, 11 types of elementary school social studies textbooks were analyzed after deliberation by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was difficult to show a significant change as part of content organization of the unit framework. Second, the content development method of unit framework deviated from consistency and showed differences between textbooks. Third, in the activity composition part of the unit framework, it tried to attract students' interest and provide various activity materials capable of self-directed learning. Fourth, in part of changes in the contents of textbooks, it was difficult to present a new alternative that could overcome the problems of the curriculum. Based on these analysis results, the following suggestions were made to improve the quality of authorized textbooks in the future. First, it is necessary to share the analysis criteria for elementary school teachers to judge textbooks and expand the training programs to utilize them. Second, it is necessary to lower the binding force of the national curriculum away from the content-based curriculum. Third, the textbook revision and supplementation system should be expanded as a textbook to be made.
