통일신라에서 고려로의 군현제 변화와 그 요인 : 충남 지역을 중심으로 Focused on Chungnam Province = The Change in Gunhyeon-je(郡縣制) from Silla to Goryeo and its Factor

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

South of Chung-cheong province's foundation was woong-ju(웅주), one of the 9 ju(州)s in unified Silla dynasty. However, Gong-ju(공주), Hongsung(홍성), and Cheon-an(천안) became a big city at the beginning of Goryeo caused by the war in early Goryeo dynasty. The revised name of administrative district settled at that time. Also, Jik-san(직산) and Eunjin(은진) was enlisted to Chung-nam(충남) due to situation in early Goryeo dynasty.
For that reason, there was a big influence to current name of the place and administrative district which is originated from the change between Silla Gunhyeonje(신라군현제) and Goryeo Gunhyeonje(고려군현제).
The feature of changed woong-ju(웅주) which is currently located in Chung-nam was that Hong-ju(홍주) and Cheon-an bu(천안부) grew up to new big castle. There were some relations between big city-centered gunhyeonje and castle.
When we see the places that became a major city in Woongju's place, most of them were military bases with castles to supervise the suburb. This relations between major city and suburb made a jusok gunhyeonje(주속군현제). We can also find the feature that there were lots of revised name of the places. Those revised name is still used.
Duckeunkun(덕은군) and cijinhyeon(시진현) which is affiliation of Jeonju(전주) and Baeksungkun(백성군) and Sasanhyeon(사산현) which is affiliation of Hanju(한주) were enlisted in this place.
