The research analyzes the production role and the meaning it abstracts focusing on the correlations on the production design and the characters in terms of the image narrative. It utilizes Greimas` Actantial model and the square semantic structure semiotics to create the meaning of Barth who is known as most scientific and objective in analyzing a video image and analyze the semantic structure relationship more specifically. This study analyzed the production design in the aspect of correlation between characters and events, and explicit/implicit meanings of space in narratives. In the results of analyzing the case video, the production design was analyzed as a visual-complex structural relation that exposes information explicitly or implicitly to generate ideologic meanings, hierarch of status regarding spatial division and characters` internal and external condition. Therefore, production design draws out the signals by making relationships with the main characters, the received signals make certain expectation that satisfies or interrupts as the received signals are led by and delayed. relationship.
