(Republic of Korea wrote as Korea below.)
In the introduction, the necessity, the purpose, and the limitations of the study, and the definition of terms were described. In the theoretical background, the concept of life-sports, definition of life-sports, history and purpose and characteristics of life-sports were described. With the investigation into local sports in Korea, facilities of Korean local sports, daily sports programs in Korea, facilities and sports programs in Japan and sports in Japan, and the necessity of sports promotion in both countries, the basic understanding of the necessity of promotion was sought.
In order for Korea's daily sports and elite sports to develop mutually, it was determined that comparison with other developed countries was necessary, so the current state of life-sports in Japan, the nearest developed country, was compared and analyzed with Korea.
The results analyzed through this study are as follows.
First, Korea and Japan participate in sports more than once a week for more than 60 hours, with 66.6% in Korea and 49.6% in Japan, showing a 17% higher participation rate in Korea.
Second, in the case of non-participants in sports activities in Korea, the lack of time available for sports activities' was the highest in Korea, and in Japan, time was the biggest factor.
Third, the highest participation rates in Korea were walking' and climbing', and Japan's also walking', 'walking', and track-and-field'. The stock appeared as the most popular stock.
Fourth, in the case of local life sports facilities and programs, Gangnam Sports Culture Center, Gangnam Community Center, Sports Class, Gangnam Community Gymnasium, Maebongsan Indoor Badminton Court, Bongeun Tennis Court, Poi Tennis Court, and Daejin Gymnasium are operated in Gangnam-gu, and Shibuya City residents Sports Center, Daikanyama Sports Plaza, Higashi Health Plaza, Sarugaku Gymnasium, Nakahata Elementary School Swimming Pool, Uehara Junior High School Swimming Pool, Shibuya Main Academy Hot Water Swimming Pool, Yoyogi Nishihara Park Tennis Court, Futago Tamagawa Residents' Exercise Facility, etc. Compared to Korea, where there are many hobbies-oriented courses, Japan has soccer, volleyball, and there were many ball games such as basketball and table tennis, as well as martial arts such as karate, judo, and archery.
Fifth, in the comparison of the lifestyle sports that they want to participate in in the future, the answer that Korea wants to learn golf is the highest in Korea, if they are financially relaxed, and in Japan, the response rate for walking, jogging, and athletics is the highest ever for the future sports He showed interest in various sports such as gymnastics, bare gymnastics, aerobics, beauty gymnastics, rope skipping, swimming, golf, hiking, snowboarding, skin scuba, social dance, and modern dance.
It was confirmed that Japan's sports programs for daily life are still more diverse than those in Korea, and have been adopted as future-oriented events rather than hobbies and interests, and are actively providing early education on physical activities for youth with potential future development. To discover talents that can be nurtured as elite athletes in the future, if the purpose is to provide youths with the future-oriented selection of sports and training programs more intentionally, life-sports and elite sports can grow in harmony and contribute to the future of the country. I would like to suggest a direction to become a strong national power.
