Mencious' ethics is based on natural and blood relational emotion. It is commonly believed that Mencious' ethics is based innately and transcend moral rationality. But the organization of Mencious' ethics is based on natural relational emotion but also restrict that the future of Confucianism turn into naturalistic, subjective, intytive. Mencious' consider preserve and extending the mind as important. A cultivate theory on the mind is mail character in the Mencious' ethics. The crucial is not what is Good but how to preserve and extending Good which already has been given, That is, the will to preserve and extending Good is crucia the moral life. The focal point of cultivate oneself mind in the Mencious is Qi(氣) which connets human nature and mind and body. While Sheonglihak says that though the human nature is perfectly good and pure. the human disposition is partially good and pure, unlike this he consumes that a wrongdoing has a relation not only to the human disposition[氣質], but also to the spiritual body. I arrange Ha-gok's characteristics as a scholar of the Yangming school and Zhu Xi's errors in the Sisbu jizbu, which is clearly displayed in his Interpretation and Explanation of the Mengzi, and analyse the unique structure of each of Mengzi. In addition to this, using his explanations on small entries in his interpretation of the Four Classics, I reconstruct Ha-gog's own and creative theory. This essay, which follows the above mentioned order of discussions, brings out, as its last discussiom, the issue of how we should approach the study of the Yanming school that not only is a part of the Confucian school but also once enjoyed its time as the spirit of an age.
Dasan understands Neo-Confucianists theory of mind was formed under strong influence of Buddhism. For Dasan the mind of human being is undamentally different from non-human being's mind. Above all human mind has the free will to choose between good and evil. this paper attemps to examine that Dasan's mind-theory should be understood in the point of a practical moral-theoy and this perspective be related to his comprehension of wrongdoing. In probing the essence of human nature. Dasan refused to consider anything metaphysical, that is to say, anything beyong empirical verification. In addressing the hotly debated topics of his time. Such as the sameness(or difference) between human and animal nature, and the sameness/differencs between the sage and the common mind. Dasan always attempted to prove the value proposition through the personal and social evidence of experience and investigation. Thus revealing the naturalistic character of his philosophy. Moreover the fact that Dasan neither relied on metaphysical axioms nor did he use intutive or speculative methods in his process of verification shows that he had freed himself from the tradition of moral metaphysics represented by Zhu Xi in China and Yi Hwang in Korea. Moral inclination is defined as liking the good and disliking the evil and is basically a cognitive emotion, or a moral sentiment. The fact that such sentiment is rooted in the human mind as its unchangeable. indispensable nature-as the only power through which humans can carry out actual moral actions-is the gist of Dasan's argument. Dasan's naturalism, on the contrary, contends that being intelligent or rational has nothing to do with being morally good; the moral emotion derived from moral perception is the only relevant element in human mind that leads to actualizing moral goodness.
