크라우드소싱 저널리즘의 성과와 과제 = <한겨레>의 ‘전두환 재산 찾기 프로젝트’와 <뉴스타파>의 ‘조세피난처 프로젝트’ 사례 분석

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The impact of the Internet on journalism has been extended from news distribution and consumption to production. As a result, such terms as collective intelligence, wisdom of crowds, and crowdsourcing are being considered as the future of journalism. All of these have a common idea: the Internet has lowered the barrier for cooperation in tasks that would previously been performed by professionals and, furthermore it has led to better results. Nevertheless, relatively little academic research has been done in the areas. This study examined the achievements and challenges of crowdsourcing journalism by analyzing the cases of The Hankyoreh and Newstapa’s projects in 2013. To do this, this study explained the concept of crowdsourcing and its defining elements. It also illustrated how crowdsourcing has been combined with journalism. In addition, the study presented various types of crowdsourcing journalism. Then, it discussed the achievements and limitations of the two projects. The ultimate goal of this research is to explore the future value of journalism and propose some paths toward better journalism.
