미국의 새로운 국방전략지침과 한미동맹: 신현실주의의 패권 축소론의 관점에서

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 패권 축소론의 관점에서 제2기 오바마 행정부의 대전략 및 동아시아 전략을 분석함과 더불어 동아시아 지역에서 나타나는 미중관계의 전략적 이해관계의 상충 내용을 분석하고자 한다. 특히, 이 글에서는 동아시아 지역에서 미국이 구축하고자 하는 3+3 안보체제의 내용과 성격을 살펴보고 이것이 한미동맹에 미치는 영향 및 우리의 동맹정책과 대응방안을 모색해보고자 한다.

This paper proposes graceful retrenchment and selective engagement strategy as its global and regional security strategy in the second Obama administration. I think that the Obama administration will strongly pursue to strengthen its alliance policy as a pivot to Asia. In the process the Obama administration will try to build a couple of triangle cooperative security systems. In this context, this article examines the possibility and characters of triangle security systems and its impact on the ROK-US strategic alliance.
