유아의 신체상(身體像) 컴퓨터 활동 프로그램이 신체 자아개념과 자아상(自我像)에 미치는 효과 = Effects of Body-image Computer Activity Program for Young Children on Their Physical Self-concept and Self-image

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present research was designed to study how body-image computer activity program for young children could enhance their physical self-concept and self-image. Body-image computer activity program for young children was developed and applied to five year-old children. The subjects of the present study were divided into Experimental group (20 subjects) and Control group (20 subjects). Children in experimental group participated in the body-image computer activity program for 14 session, twice a week for seven weeks. Children in the control group attended the regular kindergarten program for the same period of time.
The result of the study were as follows.
First, it was shown that body-image computer activity program for young children enhanced their physical self-concept. The results of physical self-concept test after the program indicated that the experimental group attained higher score than the control group.
Second, it was shown that body-image computer activity program positively affected young children's self-image from the perspective of person drawing.
