梅月堂의 詩世界 : 中正의 美學을 중심으로 = A Study on Maewoldang's Poetry

This study is for the purpose of investigating the poetry world of Maewoldang, Kim Si-sup who is representative poet of former Joseon Dynasty era.
The Maewoldang complete works which were published after his death include huge amount of literary works, the successive collection[續集], the exterior collection[外集], the special collection[別集], and collection of work in 23 volumes, an odd-poetical prose[雜賦], an odd-writings[雜著], an assay[論], a praise[讚], the relationship[義], including poem collection in 15 volumes, 2,200 poems and songs. And the Maewoldang complete works is for investigation with beauty study of fairness out of connection method impartiality of aesthetics.
In the chapter I, Because the existing study concentrate on dealing with ideal, religious and literary aspect, So it obviously could not explain the characteristic of Maewoldang's poetry. The impartiality is not passive concept, which means right state, various situation and condition is not partial, but active concept to accomplish the best state.
It plays an important part, which explain the tensed relation that is generated by Maewoldang unexpected adversity between ego and reality. It makes a precondition to clear the poetic characteristic of Maewoldang.
In chapter Ⅱ, What conception of literature of Maewoldang makes a full use without bounding formality and social rules shows. And as he said in learning poet, It define that The final goal of making a poem is enter the porch with comprehending the 'curious presence[妙處]'. And To accomplish it can be possible with understanding by their effort on the assumption with impartiality.
In chapter Ⅲ, I intend that realization like a god and consensus with nature which are represented in Maewoldangs works and poetic motive of curious realizing[妙悟] which is appear by impartiality projected on tea are due to effect of impartiality.
Sooner or later, I thank that I will able to define that his literary characteristic is seeking the positive attitude of order and harmony at the between the Middle and the righteousness. But in this study, I dont consider that I achieve efficient access about his huge and variety world of poetry only with limited works. Only I would like to point trying new start of his world of poetry.
In the future, the concentrative and careful inspection will be required to understand poetry world of Maewoldang. And I expect that his characteristics about aesthetics is stood out in bold relief by deep studying and discussion about his poet-spirit and poet-vision.
