해석학과 철학실천 – 해석학의 지평확대로서의 철학실천 방법론 모색

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 해석학을 기초로 하는 철학실천의 방법론을 모색하기 위해 기획되었다. 인간이란 자신의 존재를 스스로 해석하며 살아야만 하는 해석학적 상황 속의 존재자라는 사실이 분명해질 때 비로소 우리는 참된 의미에서의 철학실천의 가능성을 본격적으로 모색할 수 있다는 것이 연구자들의 공통된 견해였다. 이 연구는 철학실천을 해석학적 지평과 결합시키고, 이를 통해 한 사회 속에서 개개인이 겪게 되는 실존적 문제들을 해결하는 데 그 근본 취지가 있다. 철학실천은 내담자 스스로 자신이 살아왔고 또 현재 살고 있는 삶의 “텍스트”를 이해하도록 함으로써 내담자 스스로 자신의 삶의 문제들을 이해하도록 도와야 한다. 이를 위해 연구자들은 인간의 자기 이해와 직간접적으로 연관된 철학의 제 분야들인 철학적 인간학, 실존철학, 형이상학, 존재론 등을 함께 연구하면서 해석학의 기본 개념들을 철학실천의 관점에서 재조망해보았다. 이는 철학실천에 해석학적 방법론의 토대를 마련하고자 하는 작업이었다.
연구자들은 먼저 다음과 같은 철학실천의 특수성에 주목하였다: 1. 철학실천은 인간에 대한 객관적 관찰을 근본적인 출발점으로 삼을 수는 없다; 2. 참다운 철학실천의 방법론은 인간을 수동적 객체처럼 관찰하고 분석하거나 개개인의 차이를 무시하고 어떤 천편일률적인 처방을 내리려는 태도를 통해서는 결코 확보될 수 없다. 철학실천의 궁극적인 목적은 철학실천가가 고통을 겪는 사람들에게 일방적으로 제기할 어떤 획일화된 의료기법의 개발이 아니라 고통을 겪는 이 스스로 자신의 존재를 해석하고 이해하며, 더 나아가 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 고통을 이겨낼 힘을 지니도록 하는 것에 있다. 연구자들은 인간 현존재로 하여금 자신의 존재 가능성을 보다 긍정적으로 고양할 수 있도록 돕는 것을 이 연구의 근본 목적으로 삼았다. 이 연구는 총 여섯 개의 개념들을 철학실천과의 관계 속에서 해명하게 될 것이다. 그것은 초월, 타자, 언어, 공감, 이해, 의미이다. 이 여섯 개의 개념들은 그 자체 해석학의 핵심 개념들일 뿐만 아니라, 해석학을 존재론 및 실존철학 등과 연결시켜주는 고리들이기도 하다.

This study is designed in order to provide a finding the methodology of philosophical practice. Truly man is there for his or her own existence to interpret in the hermeneutic situations. If the existence of human being in the hermeneutics is apparent, clearly it is time to broaden our research and start looking in the possibility of the Practical Philosophy. This is the common views of researchers. The fundamental intent of this study is to solve the existential problems through combining philosophical practice with hermeneutic prospect. Philosophical practice should help for clients to understand their problems of life themselves and, what it more, it is possible by understanding of their past, present text of life by themselves. With this in mind, the researchers have reviewed the basic concepts of hermeneutics from the point of view of philosophical practice, studying all areas of philosophy related to human self-understanding: philosophical anthropology, philosophy of existence, metaphysics and ontology. Indeed, this work has laid the foundation for the foundation for hermeneutic methodology in philosophical practice.
