무인도의 염소방목지역 식물상과 식생변화-전라남도 진도군 명도를 중심으로- = The Flora and Vegetation of the Goats grazing Land in Uninhabited island - mainly on the Myeongdo, Jindogun Jeollanamdo, Korea -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was carried out investigate the flora and main vegetation change of the goats grazing land in the uninhabited island, Myeongdo. The study was performed from June to September 2017. Vascular plants were summarized as 89 taxa including 41 families, 76 genera, 75 species, 1 subspecies, 13 varieties. 21 taxa were listed as specific plants based on phytogeographical distribution in the investigated area. The exotic plant species were recorded as 3 taxa. The Naturalization Ratio and Urbanization Index were recorede as 3.41%, and 0.93%. Carex boottiana community accounted for the biggest among all the communities in Myeongdo with 37.86% or 15,632.14㎡. It was followed by Miscanthus sinensis community with 2.59%, Litsea japonica-Camellia japonica community with 2.02%. The importance plants are Saussurea polylepis and Veronica sieboldiana based on distribution in the investigated area. This is a report of an unrecorded species of Veronica from Korea, Veronica sieboldiana (Miq), found in Myeongdo, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do. the species can be distinguished from other Veronica species by trichomes that leaves slightly dilated and clasping at base; inflorescence and young branches with long-spreading multicellular hairs. The species was named after its findspot and is hence called “Gaet-ggoripul.” An illustration and key to the taxa related to Veronica are provided.
