검찰의 공직부패통제강화 방안에 대한 연구 = A Study on the Measures Aiming at Enhancing the Control of Official Corruption by the Public Prosecutor's Office

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is designed to review the various reasons for corruption of the public officials and the measures of the government to prevent it, and to search for the efficient way of prevention. This study stresses the way to raise the detection rate of corruption and to inflict severe punishment in addition to the anti-corruption strategy such as the precautionary measures. The public prosecutor's office should take the major role in corruption control rather than providing the right of investigation to National Integrity Commission or establishing new organization for corruption control. In order to reinforce the capacity for investigation of the Public Prosecution, this study presents the substantial method for it including the way of reinforcing the capacity for information gathering, introducing the secret investigation agency of the U.S. and the testimony subject to immunity from responsibility.
