산업클러스터내에서 사회적 자본과 혁신성과간의 관계모형 비교연구: 판교 테크노밸리와 구로 디지털산업단지를 중심으로 = A Comparative Study of the Relation Model between Social Capital and Innovative Performance in Industrial Clusters: Focusing on Pangyo Techno Valley and Guro Digital Industrial Complex

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzed the impact of social capital on corporate innovative performance in Pangyo Techno Valley and Guro Digital Industrial Complex. Social capital was categorized into bonding social capital and bridging social capital, and direct effect of each social capital on corporate innovative performance and indirect effect intermediated by technical factor were verified via a statistical analysis. The effect of technical factor itself on a corporate innovative performance was additionally examined.
In Pangyo Techno Valley, we have found that bridging social capital has a significant impact on technological factors and corporate innovative performance. This is due to the generalized network of diverse and abundant information exchange among members in the cluster.
In Guro Digital Industrial Complex, bridging social capital has a significant impact on technological factors, but it has no association with corporate innovative performance. Additionally, technological factors showed no intermediary effect on the bridging social capital and corporate innovative performance.
This paper was conducted as an extension of a prior study that analyzed the influence of social capital on a cluster’s innovative performance based on Daedeok Innopolis and Wonju industrial complex. In the future, by conducting further studies that analyze the effect of social capital on each regional industrial cluster, the researcher aims to present an efficient operation methodology of social capital to enhance corporate innovative performance in industrial clusters.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 수도권에 위치한 판교 테크노밸리와 구로 디지털산업단지의 입주기업을 대상으로 사회적 자본이 기업의 혁신성과에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하였다. 사회적 자본을 결속형 사회적 자본과 교량형 사회적 자본으로 구분하여, 각 사회적 자본이 기업의 혁신성과에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 부분과 기술적 요인의 매개를 통하여 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 부분에 대하여 통계분석을 통하여 검증하였으며, 기술적 요인이 그 자체로써 기업의 혁신성과에 미치는 부분에 대하여도 살펴 보았다.
연구결과, 판교 테크노밸리에서는 결속형 사회적 자본보다는 교량형 사회적 자본이 기술적 요인과 혁신성과에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 클러스터 내 구성원들 상호 간에 다양하고 풍부한 정보를 공유할 수 있는 네트워크 활동이 활발하고 보편화되어 있는 점 등에 기인된다 하겠다.
구로 디지털산업단지의 경우, 교량형 사회적 자본은 기술적 요인에는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 혁신성과에는 미치는 영향이 없으며, 또한 클러스터 기반의 교량형 사회적 자본과 기업의 혁신성과 간의 관계에서 기술적 요인의 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다.
본 논문은 대덕연구개발특구 및 원주산업단지를 대상으로 사회적 자본이 클러스터의 혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 선행연구의 연장선상에서 연구되었으며, 향후 지역별 산업클러스터를 대상으로 연구를 계속하여 산업클러스터내에서 기업혁신성과를 향상시키기 위한 사회적 자본의 효율적 운영방법론을 제시코자 한다.
