혁명가들에 관한 명리학적 연구 = A Mingliological Study of Revolutionaries

Human beings live intertwined on Earth, where the forces of Yin and Yang interact, much like the planets in the solar system. This is the act of conforming to the predetermined rules of space and time while obeying the laws of nature. In human society, there are also established rules, and most people live in accordance with these rules. However, revolutionaries are individuals who create new changes by opposing all the environments surrounding human beings, including society, nation, and ideology. They are individuals who have resisted physically or mentally in narrow and unequal circumstances.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the destiny and fortune of foreign revolutionaries. The criteria to select for the revolutionaries to be studied were based not on their level of excellence, but on their activities defined by the concept of revolution. The post-revolutionary activities as political figures or the personal lives of the individuals are not considered separately but rather in connection with their revolutionary activities. Additionally, revolutionaries who, despite creating a new nation or system, led to regression in the country, nation, or ideology after the revolutions are excluded from the study. There are various methods for analyzing the Four Pliiars of Destiny of foreigners, but in this study, the local time of birth was applied using the principles of Mingli without any adjustments.
This study was conducted on 30 representative foreign revolutionaries to analyze their daily stems based on their the Four Pliiars of Destiny, the Relatives and the Ten Relatives in their Daily Branch, the analysis of their fate, changes in their auspicious and inauspicious elements, as well as the analysis of changes in their fate and fortune according to their Luck Pillars. The study also examined the changes in auspicious and inauspicious elements during the period of revolutionary activity.
To summarize and organize the results of the study:
1. Analysis of the Revolutionaries' Daily Stem and Daily Branch
The qualities of a revolutionary can be determined based on the Five Elements and Ten Heavenly Stems in their daily stem. It was found that individuals with the element "壬 (Ren) Water" as their Daily stem are less likely to possess revolutionary traits, and the Daily stem "辛 (Xin) Metal" also showed weaker revolutionary qualities compared to other Daily stems. The analysis of their Daily Branch also revealed their influence on the revolutionaries, with those having Gup-jae and Jeong-gwan in their Daily Branch being the least common among revolutionaries. This indicates that individuals with Gup-jae tendencies, which include a tendency to rush towards conflict, and Jeong-gwan tendencies, which seek to be upright and honest, have less correlation with revolutionary traits. When analyzed according to the Five Relatives, the small number of revolutionaries with Gwan-seong of Daily Branch as their relative stem aligns with these findings.
2. Analysis of changes in the robust fate and frail fate of revolutionaries based on their destiny, auspicious and inauspicious elements, and the influence of luck.
The strong energy of robust fate during the period of revolutionary activity has an impact on the success of the revolution. However, it was also observed that there are revolutionaries who have successfully carried out revolutions despite unfavorable elements in their frail fate. Therefore, it can be concluded that assessing revolutionary activity based solely on the strength of robust fate and frail fate is not feasible.
3. Analysis of the revolutionaries' character Geuk-guk.
It was recognized that the revolutionary's innate character, known as the Geuk-guk, is also related to the practice of the revolution. The analysis revealed that individuals with the Jeong-guan geuk value adherence to proper norms and regulations, while those with the Sang-guwan geuk engage in activities that are not bound by rules. The Yang-in geuk, where one's own standards are of utmost importance, was found to have little correlation with the Geuk-guk possessed by revolutionaries, with only one individual exhibiting this character. The most common Geuk-guk observed among revolutionaries was the Ja-geuk , which signifies accurate judgment of situations and thorough calculations. This confirms that the Ja-geuk is the Geuk-guk most necessary for revolutionary endeavors.
In conclusion, when assessing the revolutionary qualities of an individual, it is important to consider their Daily stem, Daily Branch, and Geuk-guk collectively. Rather than making definitive judgments that the strength of robust fate and frail fate alone can influence the outcome of a revolution, it is better to approach the analysis as a reference, acknowledging that it can provide more accurate insights into the individual's destiny and fortune as a revolutionary.
Furthermore, when assessing the destiny and fortune of revolutionaries, it was observed that analyzing and examining their birth charts without any adjustments, in accordance with the principles of Mingli , revealed instances where their destiny and the theories of Mingli aligned. Furthermore, common factors were identified in the results obtained through the analytical tools used, indicating that analyzing their birth time as it is does not pose any difficulties.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인간은 陰과 陽이 교차하는 지구 위에서 태양계의 행성들과 같이 맞물려 살아가고 있다. 이것은 공간과 시간의 정해진 규칙을 따르는 것으로 자연의 법칙에 순응하는 것이다. 인간 사회에도 정해진 규칙이 있어 대부분의 사람들은 이 규칙에 순응하며 살아간다. 그러나 혁명가들은 인간을 둘러싸고 있는 모든 환경, 즉 사회, 국가, 사상 등에 대항하여 새로운 변화를 만든 사람들이다. 그들은 불합리하다고 생각되는 기존 제도와 환경에 대항한 인물들이다.
본 연구는 해외 혁명가들의 命과 運을 명리학적 관점에서 연구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석 대상이 되는 혁명가들의 선정 기준은 훌륭함의 여부가 아니라 혁명의 정의에 부합하는 활동을 한 사람들이며, 혁명 이후 정치가로서의 활동이나 개인적 삶의 형태는 혁명 활동과 연계하여 고려하지 않았다. 또한 새로운 국가나 체제를 만들었음에도 혁명 이후 국가나 민족, 사상의 퇴보를 가져온 경우의 혁명가는 제외시켰다. 외국인의 사주를 분석하는 방법은 다양하나, 본 연구에서는 어떠한 보정 없이 태어난 현지의 시간을 사주로 변환하고 명리 이론을 적용시켜 분석하였다.
국외의 대표적인 혁명가 30명을 대상으로 그들 四柱의 日干의 정체성과 日支의 十神, 日干의 身强과 身弱, 格의 분석, 運에 따른 身强, 身弱의 변화 등을 분석하고 혁명 활동 시기의 身强과 身弱의 변화를 고찰하였다.

연구의 결과를 종합하여 정리하면,
첫째, 혁명가의 日干과 日支에 대한 분석으로, 日干과 日支를 기준으로 혁명가들을 분석한 결과 壬水 日干은 혁명가적 기질을 가지고 태어나기 어렵고, 辛金 日干도 다른 日干과 비교하였을 때 혁명적 기질이 약함을 알 수 있었다. 日支도 혁명가들에게 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있는데, 日支 劫財와 正官을 가진 혁명가가 가장 적다. 이것은 劫財의 특성인 財를 향해 돌진하는 성향과 바르고 반듯함을 추구하는 正官의 성향을 가진 命은 혁명적 기질과는 관련이 적다는 사실을 보여 주고 있다. 5개의 六親으로 분석하였을 때, 日支 官星을 가진 혁명가의 수가 가장 적게 나온 것은 이에 부합하는 결과라고 할 수 있다.
둘째, 혁명가 命의 身强, 身弱 및 運에 대한 분석으로, 혁명 활동 시기의 身强한 기운은 혁명의 성공에 영향을 주지만, 身弱의 運을 가지고 성공한 혁명가도 적지 않음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 身强과 身弱의 運만으로 혁명적 활동을 판단하는 것은 무리가 있음을 알 수 있다.
셋째, 혁명가의 格局에 대한 분석을, 혁명가들이 태어날 때부터 갖게 되는 格局도 혁명의 수행과 연관이 있다. 올바르고 규범을 준수하는 것에 가치를 두는 正官格과 규율의 통제가 되지 않는 활동을 의미하는 傷官格, 자신의 기준이 가장 최우선인 陽刃格은 각각 1명이었다. 이 세 개의 格局을 가지는 사람은 혁명가가 가지는 格局과는 연관이 적다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 가장 많이 가지고 태어나는 格局은 財格으로 상황의 정확한 판단과 철저한 계산을 의미하는 財格이야 말로 혁명가와 깊은 상관성을 갖는 格局임을 확인할 수 있다.
이상의 논의를 종합하면, 한 개인의 혁명가적 자질을 판단할 때 日干과 日支, 格局을 함께 고찰해야 하며, 身强과 身弱의 運이 혁명의 결과에 영향을 주는 인과 관계가 성립하지는 않는다. 이를 참고 한다면 혁명가의 命運에 대한 분석을 더 정확하게 할 수 있을 것이다. 혁명가들의 命運을 판단할 때 어떠한 보정 없이 태어난 시각으로 분석한 결과, 혁명가들의 命運과 명리적 이론들이 부합하는 실례를 확인하였고 분석 도구들을 쓴 결과에서도 공통적 요인들이 밝혀졌으므로 태어난 시간 그대로 분석하여도 무리가 없다.
