The purpose of this study is to look into the model of trouble behavior that infants possess, objecting infants of four or five years old, and to investigate the relation with which the model of such trouble behavior has concerning to the breeding attitude of infant's mother who has trouble. The detailed study questions are as follows:
1. What is the model of trouble behavior of infant in the evaluation of teacher?
2. In there any difference in wrongdoing of infant according to the sex and age of infant?
3. Is there any relation between infant's trouble behavior by the evaluation of teacher and the breeding attitude of mother?
Study tool consists of the evaluation scale of infant trouble behavior for teacher in order to analyze infant trouble behavior, and the investigation of breeding attitude in order to confirm the breeding attitude of mother. In order to identify the model of trouble behavior that infant shows and the characteristics of trouble behavior, using 105 items adapted so as to be suitable to the culture of Korea, based on the model of 18 behavior problems that Burks (1977) has classified, and the items are used as an observing material of teacher for the analysis of infant's trouble behavior. Besides, for the diagnosis of breeding attitude of mother, the investigation of breeding attitude of mother was used, which was developed by Chon Hee Young (1992) based on the Parenting Dimensions Inventory (PDI) by Slater and Power (1987).
The result of this study is as follows:
First, in the evaluation of teacher for the trouble behavior of infant, It represents that infant of five years old, who shows trouble behavior, was numerous meaningfully comparing to four years old infant in the aspect of 'severe contracting', 'severe self-torture', and 'severe resistance'.
Second, in this study, comparing to the existing study, it is seen that the model of trouble behavior, which infants show, has very similar ratio in the aspect of severe uneasiness, severe contracting, severe reliance, weak physical strength, lack of the sense for the real, but it is seen there were some differences in the ratio of behavior in the aspect of severe self accusation, lack of intelligent capacity, severe self-torture, severe feeling of being victimized, lack of social adapting capacity.
Third, it represents while boy is numerous meaningfully, who shows trouble behaviors of lesser attentiveness and self control than girl, and girl is numerous meaningfully, who shows trouble behavior of more severe reliance than boy.
Forth, as a result of this study, the trouble behavior of infant between infant's model of trouble behavior and the breeding attitude of mother did not show the difference meaningfully comparing other model of trouble behavior except weak ego.
The conclusion, through the main items discussed in this study, is as follows:
First, in order to perform the more objective evaluation for the model of infant's trouble behavior, it should be required to provide a resonable and proper evaluation standard. Infant's behavior considered as a trouble of behavior represented different result respectively in accordance with sex, age, and study method. Besides, it should be required to provide a criteria reflecting a social and cultural reference that it is helpful for parents and teacher to recognize trouble behavior correctly, for the revising or proofreading of behavior or clinical remedy with finding the trouble behavior in early stages.
Second, It could be noted to require wider and deeper study regarding to the relation between the trouble behavior of infant and the breeding attitude of parents. The breeding attitude of infant's mother who are the object of this study results in possessing a difficult limits to generalize the study result because the attitude is classified as affection characteristics mostly, but it is noted that the collecting study for pertinent part, that is, diversified factors caused from environment except the infant nature factor that is known as affecting factor to non-adaptive behavior or trouble behavior of infant, to the breeding attitude of mother is required especially.
