      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This paper analyses the growth effects of R&D subsidy of developed country under the non-cooperative international policy competition and derives several novel results. The key results are as follows: Firstly, there is an optimal level of R&D subsidy of developing country which maximizes the world economic growth, and it is negatively associated with the R&D subsidy of developed country. Secondly, the growth effects of R&D subsidy of developed country are various depending on the R&D subsidy level of developing country. When the latter is greater than the growth maximizing level, an increase in the R&D subsidy of developed country raises the world economic growth. However, when the level of R&D subsidy of developing country is less than the optimal level, the growth effects of R&D subsidy of developed country are non-monotonous, and, furthermore, there is a growth maximizing level of R&D subsidy of developed country. The increase in the R&D subsidy of developed country than the optimal level can reduce the economic growth.
