Fuzzy logic을 이용한 full-text 검색에 있어 fuzzy 추론방법과 검색성과(成果)와의 상관적 연관성에 대한 연구 = A study of inter-relationship between fuzzy inferencing strategies and search performance in fuzzy full-text information retrieval

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The primary purpose of this study was to explore the interoperable relationship between fuzzy inferencing strategies and search performance in fuzzy full-text information retrieval. To this end, a fully functional prototype of a fuzzy full-text information retrieval system was developed and an experimental system that used this prototype system was designed to investigate the search performance employing different fuzzy inferencing strategies. Finally, this study shows that a fuzzy information retrieval system may provide an effective and efficient search performance. Also, it is worth noting that different fuzzy inferencing methods may produce slightly different search performance. Namely, some fuzzy inferencing strategies provide better performance than the others in a particular search mode but not in another mode.
